thats the same risk you take when you buy anything over the net. that is why ebay have feedback, etc so you know who you're dealing with.

Some of these people must sell a lot of stuff, my feedback is only 37 after 5 years on there and i do buy and sell a bit (obviously 37 times) LOL

Yeah i would never buy my audio gear over the net i respect the company so i would always buy from an authourised dealer
 (Okay now give me my new head unit!) 
LOL but seriously ive been a bit scepticle about buying that sort of stuff off of ebay... doesnt seem right you can get cheap Alpine gear etc.. at a fraction of the price..
