as large as possible :P
thicker wire can carry power easier, and has less resistance, even though its all minimal, unless u for some reason have 100k's of it coiled up :P in which case id b more worried about the inductance, any way back to the point, use as thick as you can fit :P and yea good luck

I wouldnt do anything smaller than 4 guage.....realistically bigger would still be better....i dont think 0 gauge would be needed though

4 Guage would be OK, as long as the distance from the amp to the sub is no longer than 2 metres :)

12ga should suffice, but if you really wanna show off (read: RICE) you can go bigger

No offence but for a sony amp i wouldnt worry about spending too much then on cables....just keep the 15" sub as close to the amp as possible have at least 8 gauge (12 would suffice tho) and make sure the earth area is filed back and matched cable size.

Guys really. Did you think about that answer? 4 Gauge or 0 guage from a sub to an amp? I really doubt it. Totally pointless as most terminals on amps and subs (unless you spent a mint) wouldn't fit 4 gauge.

8 would definatly suffice.

Yeah sorry i did go off on a tangent .. but yeah i run 4 guage on mine 4x 12"s.

But as i said for the sony gear i wouldnt bother .. 12 gauge will do but 8 would be better but u probably would feel much of a difference
