Yeah i got a AU2 xr6 ute and i want to remove the head unit but don't know how to so can anyone post how to remove it as it is giving me the s**t. thanks :x

g'day fellas,
You will see that on either side there are two small holes, one above the other. When I got mine out a mate of mine had two U shape pieces of metal. You slide them in and you can then pull the deck out.

These particular pieces had sort of arrow heads on them so they stuck in and pulled it out, however if you make up your own you should be able to just stick them in and put your fingers in the tape deck to pull it out without the heads. Please try to imagine via my very crude text picture...
