G'day guys, great site ya got here,
I was wonderin if one of you blokes could help me?
I've got a BA Falcon that I wanna fiddle with the AUX with. Only problem is that it has a a previous car kit installed, and I got no bloody clue as to which socket is the Aux one.
I spose I could rip everything out and do a bit of trial and error, but i was just hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction and save me a bit of time and so I don't have to run the risk of stuffing up something I wasnt supposed to touch.
Cheers.

It's the white female connector under the dashboard, just behind the fusebox on the drivers side of the car. From memory there's two white ones there, and the Ford aux cable will only plug into one of them.

lol, you're saving for the $5 worth of parts? Even the genuine one only cost me 20 bucks.

Mine was 125 fitted, which includes the preamp booster kit though, not just the cable.

Preamped Booster cost price was 90 for me.

I would not go any other way if you are hooking in an MP3 player or the likes...

the stardard cable contains no amp, hence the lower cost.

Spend the money, get the genuine stuff.
