can't wait to hook it up, some old school flavour thrown in to.
-JVC KW-AVX700 HU. -Focal 165 A1 6.5" component. -DLS MS6A 6.5" 2 ways. -2 DLS OA8 8" 250w open air subs. -Alpine F545 4 ch amp -2 7" headrest TFT LSD screens. -2 4" sunvisor screens. Just thought I'd share it with you all.

sounds nice dude...love the F545s top 4ch amp
 will sound nice.. 8" DLS subs that would sound pretty wicked...should be very tight n punchy...

yeah should sound pretty good, didn't want to lose any boot space this time around, the amp's great picked it up for a steal too, $580 so I'm pretty happy. I was originally going with the Focal KP series 165's but come across a vx senator signature with the DLS's in sounded sweet as. I'll post up some photos when shes done.........

we'll for me it started off working at BILO when I was 15 there was a guy there who had an old Galant, he had some s**t 6x9's, 6" fronts, some cheap a** amp and 2 10" Kickers on the parcel shelf. Heard it thought it sounded good, started knocking around with him and his mates, watched learn't, listened, practiced and was never shy about goning in to a car audio shop and asking the installers questions. I've now done some resonable size installs(though basic). That was 11 years ago and probably about 20 odd installs later, still I have a lot to learn though. Really it is an artform I know for a fact that I know very little but the basics so I can get by.........

hey ED911 how much did the 2 8" DLS set u back? im guessing by open air you mean they are free air subs? i wouldn't mind having 2 free air subs in my car joining my 10" free air....would be very nice. btw who else makes 8" free air?

The DLS OA8's set me back 259 each. yep open air, free air same thing, I know pioneer make a 8" not quite sure if they are specifically made for open air but I do know that they do work as open air i'll find out for you.......

The pioneer i was thinking of does require an enclosure but it is small only 13L, but there is also the Kicker SSMB8 retails around 140 odd if Im correct, not sure if the new series is available in Oz yet, JL audio do make one aswell but massivly overpriced........

cheers mate. i want to get 2 x 8" free air plus my current 250W RMS pioneer free air. or just 2 new 10"s.
