you will need to contact ford to get the code with proof of purchase for memory.
some dealers charge a small fee and some dont - ring around.

Yeah, i went to the local Ford place and they said they cant help me as they need the original VIN. any other ideas would be great.

get in contact with who you got it from n get the vin; the only way otherwise it could be like finding a needle in a hayestack blindfolded during an epileptic fit whist being off your head from god knows what lol - get the point hehe?
They can send it away to have the code cracked/reset if you provide proof of purchase form memory altho this will no doubt be costly in comparison to the finding of the orig code. Good luck mate.

the ford on burwood hwy near knox city do it for free (incase they might know how)
but maybe call the company that makes the stereos for ford... they might be able to help you out

you WILL need the vin of the car it came out of.
or you could try ford,mazda sound (FMS AUDIO) they are around our way somewhere (clayton??) and try and get it from the serial number. you might need to go and get a stat. dec signed B4 they will do it. or just throw it in the bin like we do. |

so what do ford do when they get the VIN, punch it into a computer and it unlocks the radio? just out of curiosity

hmmm I'm going to need one for my premo upgrade one day and I don't have the VIN ... oh wait, no I have the code in the instruction book... bit of a waste of a post really!!

I purchased from a Member here. It was not stollen ( So i have been told) the code supplied was wrong. the VIN of the car does not match the stereo code.
