Can I ask what you have exactly?

Wireless Keyboard with integrated trackball mouse

That's about all except for the usual assortment of PCI Cards, Socket 370 P3 processors, motherboards, SDRAM etc.

At the moment I am using a wireless mouse and the on-screen keyboard.

I will eventually have a touch screen overlay on top of the factory ICC screen

Could you link me to the Ford touchscreen kits? I can't seem to find any.

Looks good. Very similar to my first setup. I prefer laptops for this sorta stuff. My laptop in my car from key turn to music playing takes about 5 seconds.

If you don't already know about it, check out mp3car. I reckon your setup would function better using a frontend of some form. I recommend RoadRunner. Free, easily the most widely used frontend, and open source.

And yeah, get a touch overlay. My first two setups didn't utilize a screen, and now I would never go back.
