Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone had done anything special with their aftermarket GPS systems and installing them in their car?

I ran across this thread:

http://www.fordmods.com/forums/viewtopi ... hlight=gps

Which doesnt look too bad. But what I am thinking aloing the lines of is mounting them more down near the gear shifter and running a remote aerial for the unit.

I would like to leave mine constantly in the car, but am scared s**t about leaving it on the windscreen as it is just asking to be stolen.

Dont get me wrong, I'm not lazy and I dont have any probs, reconnecting and attaching the windscreen each time, but was just wondering if someone more creative than me had developed a better solution?
