He also told me that if using an aerpro wiring harness thingo, there will be a degradation in quality, is that true?? I was planning on getting the installer to use an aerpro thingo but if I lose quality I dont think i'll go down that path. So should I get it installed with the wires from the new head unit plumbed into the existing wires after the factory plug? This is all you need mate, No soldering plugs straight in. For Pioneer Units 
For EA-ED wiring harness (theres a differant one for EF-EL) 
As for losing quality! Tis far better than a dodgy tap into the wiring behind the existing plug. I know Iv'e seen Strathfield's work.

They're good if you can find them trying to find some ATM... Every auto shop i've been to that stocks them are all out of stock with em, only Daihatsu or Hyundai s**t there.
