This is what i have been up to all of yesterday building this box.. And it sure is a damn snug fit!.. :lol: still needs carpeting otherwise its all hooked up and the Alpine type R's realy thump.. :wink:

they are a nice lookin sub all round arent they, with a sub like that, i would be trying to show all of it, not just the face, but thats my opinion.

man i wish i had the money to buy a amp and some speakers, i have had my subs sitting here for over 2 years doing jack s**t.....

picked them up last friday at Cambelltown "Car audio excellence".. at theyre "Midnight car audoi sale".. for $298 each for the two Alpine Type R's.. IM running a 2 chanel MTX amp 186rms per channel into them.. The Alpne subs have a huge "Excursion rate" ive noticed.. :lol:

perhaps moving the amps from off the back of the seat (POV) :lol: And placing a clear perspex window in the rear of the box for a nice view to the rear of the subs?

nice job mate - running them with a two channel - even with 186rms per chanel - still wouldnt a mono make it kick heaps more!!!! but still non the less looks awesome - and the flexi glass would look good from in the cabin

both kick pretty hard running 186rms each from the lil MTX.. so will prob stay as is amp wise but wil concentrate on finishing carpeting the box and getting it to stay in place properly.. :wink:
