Man that just come up tops , bugga i wasnt watching this topic earller as i could have helped you out with what bog to use and so on .... Top Job , very inspireing , as im going down this road for the LTD but using 8 inch touchscreen a carputer

Yeah I'm still waiting on the media player to arrive before I run the rest of the wiring and fit it all properly. Should be here any day now

since reading this i have come up with my own plans for my car...
it consists of, my current CD/MP3 player, a new dvd player (indash) moulded into a modified stereo facia, and either a flip out screen that comes out of the modified trip computer panel, or a normal screen fibreglassed into the front of the trip computer panel. here is a quick mock up of what it will be like. the reason i chose for the screen to be mounted there is because i only want one screen and in this position everyone in the car can see it

Huggy that would look sweet as! you'd have to reshape the whole dash tho or else youd have the top corner just hanging out there looking daggy...

yeah, my mate has done this on his laser, he brought out the panel a bit so it sat forward, then moulded it all in

huggiebear that would look good =D lets just hope it would flow with the dash =D. good luck.....and hyena when the item arrives....and u tested all the things...could u tell me how the item is? because i was going to buy one as well but wasn't too sure of quality.

Yeah I'll do a full review. I looked around for one before buying and couldn't find anything so hopefully this will benefit others.
