I've done it, i'm running my digital scanner below the headunit in my EB Fairmont.

Dave modified the single din facia, and i used fibreglass packing tape to bind the scanner and radio together.

Sounds dodgy, but works a treat :)

G'day mate, It is going to be a hassel for you. for a couple of reasons. The facia surround will need to be modified to accomodate the double din deck, and even then It will not line up because it doesn't have a flat surface on the front.

Also the mounting brackets will need to be modified to suit.

this being said, It can be done, and I'm more than happy to help you do it. just give me a bell if you want.

Cheers.

Nice.

Are you able to put the car into Park when the screen is out?

I had my screen in a similar spot in the waggin, but couldnt shift into 1st, 3rd or 5th :P

The other thought is that you wont be able to play with the HU while the screen is up.. could've been better the other way around.

Anyhoo.. looks tops! Did you use any packing tape? LOL

um the car has to be in drive or the screen will hit it the gear stick ,you can adjust the screen forward to actses the cd player,it would have been better above the cd player but because the way the dash is it would hit it ,the tv would prob sit out alot more then it does if it was above the cd player.,i'll see how it goes it i dont like it i can always play around with it and try other things .

and no i didn't use any packing tape LOL !!!
