Just finished fitting my screen into the EL, hopefully post some pics a little later. But, its a fairly small screen, and what I did, was cut out the small pocket and ashtray from a spare stereo surround, and moulded the screen itself in, using body filler. After some sanding and paint, it almost looks factory. It sits just under the head unit.

Thought about doing that, only problem is that screen is obstructed by the gear stick. ATM I play chaeuffer to all my mates since one of them lost his license. So I got my mates in the back and to entertain them I have the screen. So I like where I have placed it. Its a good position, not great, but solid.

Is yours a TV tuner Low EL? If so what have to done to get good reception?

Went to Autobarn today and picked up an aftermarket European connecter for the anntennae. It fits but will it work? How clear is your recpetion? This is fairly clear, bit of fuzz, but thats just on my front lawn, we will see how it goes on the road.
