Hey Guys

I went to Jb hi fi looking to place a new cd head unit in the car. They said that it cannot be done coz they have to remove the whole standard panel which is going to cost me a s**t load of moneY!!

Does anyone know whether the standard cd system in the ba's can be removed?

you cant actually remove the icc head unit.

All you can do is install a new head unit below in the tissue tray

the factory cd play is intergrated into the icc which controls heating and a/c so no it cannot be removed. like murray said an aftermarket headunit can be intalled under neath the icc.

Why the need for a new cd player?
Does the standard one not work, or are you wanting to run amps, etc?

the standard one can be removed however the only real "easy" upgrade is to put in a premium icc from somthing like a fairmont or xr 6/8
have a look on ebay
