im thinking of buying a mtx 12" 800w jus 4 a some much needed bass, are they any good?
what Amp would suit this?

any suggestions welcome

nothing wrong with MTX gear. good stuff and decent price.

what sub is it exactly?

find the RMS rating of it, at get a monoblock of at least that size, if you dont intend to run any other speakers.

i was so close to buying one of those subs, i think they sound bloody awsome,
you should get plenty of bass outa that thing
