I had a quick search but no luck

i just got myself a new Alpine head unit to replace my premo sound and me and a mate 'tried' intsalling it tonight. We managed to get all the front speakers working (all running off head unit), but couldnt get the rear speakers and sub running from the amp. everything is connected right (new RCAs from HU to amp) and we are pretty sure we got the remote wire connected. however after having a double check in the tech docs i read that the round plug at the back of the DSP is the amp plug, whereas we used the blue remote wire from what the tech doc says is the stacker plug. this dosent seem right as i was under the impression the stacker plug was the round one?

so pretty much, which wire is the remote wire for the amp in an EL Fairmont Ghia?

do you have pics and i think you should be running the front speakers off the amp not the back accroding to my step dad who is a car audio tech it sound better running frount off amp

what head unit is it i got two next to me
CDA 9851 and Cda 9835 next to me with books

Ai-net plag is for a cd stacker and blue is for power antenna


Has the amp got power?

Yeah the antenna is working fine, i just dont know which of the orginal wires is the remote one to hook the remote from the HU to.

I would think the remote wire for the amp is the light blue wire, in the amp plug.. as that tech doco says.
