New 4 channel amplifier addition to the rockford fosgate line-up

The T15kw

A normal amplifier of this size would draw over 2100 amps of current. If not for the patent pending power supply, this amplifier would not be possible. Other features include 12/dB/octave crossovers at 32-300Hz LP/AP/HP, 2dB/octave infrasonic filter selectable off/-3dB at 22Hz, visual indication of all preamp settings, and a variable fan speed cooling system. Battery voltage does not affect this amplifier’s power output delivery. Power output at 11volts –16volts = 500watts RMS x 4 @ 4 ohms, 1000watts RMS x 4 @ 2 ohms, 2000watts RMS x 4 @ 1 ohms and 3750watts RMS x 4 @ 0.5 ohms.

lol this f**k weighs in at 150lbs :P

Very nice :P - not sure yet on pricing

Yeah very solid.

Large power amps in the PA industry aren't that dear so perhaps it is essentially that sort of set-up and then large invertors?

Either way very powerfull but a marketing trick really i don't expet they'd sell many at that price.

Soundstream XXX Goliath produces around 7,500rms under best conditions and rrp is $6,999 and i know for a fact soundstream have not sold very many of those.

this usb also uses casp so it can't be used in any class that has limits on caps.

id say go get 2 x EQ PHD10000w mod em and get 2 x 430 caps banks. wack a charging restor in there.

ud have more power, more farads at lest cost and sapce wasted
