Hey All,

Ok, wanting some guys opinions on the 12" Pioneer Shallow Subs. (or really any of the shallow range, 10" etc)

How well do they stack up to a 'full size' sub?

Reason I'm looking in to them is for a neat and clean install consuming as little space as possible (need the room to move fishing rods etc). The 12" for example only needs 22Lt enclosed.

So yeah, money isn't really a problem with em, just want to know how they stack up in a falcon compared to full size standard sorta run of the mill $200 ish subs?!?

I have the 8 inch on the rear shelf in place of the factory sub (no enclosure) and it is way better than the original.

They work ok and there are several companies making shallow mount subs now.

They generally dont have the same output or low frequency extension of conventional subs but I have certainly been impressed with all of the ones I have heard.
