Oh about the code, I *think* a mechanic we know up the road can do it, as we got it done on my father's car with the premium system, the only thing is, I am unsure whether they need a car attached to it or not.
Might give Ford a call one day and ask them how they stand on it.l |

Thanks for you help! Unfortunately that seems to only like 6 digit numbers, and not the humble 7 digit number on this stereo. I omitted the first number and used that code but it came up "Err" so one can gather what that means.

S/N: 8495601 and when you put it in it greys out. |

Yeah, 4243 is the one I tried and it failed, and the numbers can only be 1-6 can't they? (Which rules the second one out)
