Hey guys,
I am serisouly considering buying a radar detector (i live in W.A. where they are legal  ). Any reccommendations? I'm looking at spending about $400-500. I don't want a cheap POS which falses every 2 seconds but cant afford a $1000 one either.

yeah the escort ones are good, my mate got one for 450 and it never falses.

Nice. My mate bought a BEL for $100. Does pick up most radars i think but falses a lot as well, which is what i don't want. Do you know if your mates picks up most radars?

my step dad is highway patrol and he has a radar detector, detector and has cought a few people with them.

i thought they were meant to be becoming illegal in WA to as to recieve more revenue.
