Hey guys,

I am serisouly considering buying a radar detector (i live in W.A. where they are legal :D). Any reccommendations? I'm looking at spending about $400-500. I don't want a cheap POS which falses every 2 seconds but cant afford a $1000 one either.

I was looking at the 4th one down, the escort s2 cordless. It's $399 with $100 off. Like i said, any reccomendations would be greatly appreciated. At the end of the day the way i see it is you only get what you pay for.

Nice. My mate bought a BEL for $100. Does pick up most radars i think but falses a lot as well, which is what i don't want. Do you know if your mates picks up most radars?
