heya dependin on ur loc. i can do ya a good sound system, no u wont loose ur warranty, and the backs are 5x7 or 6x9 as the fronts may be aswell. not too sure but im sure some one will confirm for me, and sub will be easy to do in a ba but u will need an amp then.

you wont loose your whole car warrenty but the warrenty of audio components will be lose eg. if you upgrade your head unit and later on one of your speakers fail they may refuse to replace it. i think thats how it works but i'm not 100% on what the go is if you install yourself

Ok, Front door speakers 5x7, Im going Focal for all mine, they put out the sweetest sound, Ive got a Ute so its 5x7 in the rear, but soon to be 6x9. Cant tell you what you have in the rear, If your ugrading the stereo you will only lose your audio warranty, but you say its a 2003, you cant have much new car warranty left can you. First of all but and take note, Replace the speaker wires, Fords std wires are cheap and crap, get some decent fusion wirres in there. Just be careful with the headunit though, short it out and you'll short the car, But other than that easy to upgrade and easy to work with. Enjoy

yeha, pretty much, Either below or as some guys with no passenger airbag have done, theyve molded it into there. With mine im just getting the alpine vehicle hub, http://www.alpine.com.au its fully intergratable with the Ford head unit and allows full ipod interaction as well as any other device. Have a look and give it a go, Best thing ive found for the BA

yea that alpine hub is awsome, very great product, and 1000 is a good start to a system :P you could get a nice amp and some fairly good speakers at that price, dunno about replacin the hu and adding a sub in tho. but i would suggest not cheapin out on the speakers because u want to keep them no matter what. you can buy cheap amps and replace them as time goes on but you will bennifit more from good quality speakers.
