can u use those ariels that go throught the glass like a mobile fone one or do u hav to use the screw on type and then run the wire into the cabin throught a groment or some other means?

Mate, you need to work out what sort of driving you are doing first, and select an antenna to suit.
You have to use a screw mount aerial, and run back to the cb in the car.
I do not know of any other type of aerial for UHF.

GME make an on glass antenna.
i think they are only 3dB though.

as said befor my lasers are 6db and a 9db

Yes there is a decient glass mount antenna out there

I have one on my xe and works a treat.

I can get them from Box Hill in Melbourne here
