Took today off(sickie) to install amp in my Ba falcon and need to find out how to remove the tissue box holder to use the cig lighter as a remote, or can someone tell me a better place to run the remote off??

alright got the tissue box out hooked up the remote, amp is working perfect, almost.(sigh) the amp has full power but i am getting nothing out of the sub, i hooked the amp up by using the speakers split to the high level input , what could be going wrong??? am i better off just using a rca converter? i thought the high level input should work????

Start simple: Is the sub OK? Is the gain turned up on the amp? If you hook a normal speaker up to the speaker wires (your input into the amp) does the speaker work? Sounds dumb but check all the simple things first. Seen plenty of times where dashes etc get ripped to pieces because something won't work and it turns out simple
 Wouldn't have happened to me tho.........no..........
