Where have people mounted the siren for there alarms? Pictures tell a thousand words... Just after some ideas and recomendations.

In the engine bay, not too close to anything which gets hot or could spurt any fluids out; ie overflow tank or something..
My 1st one went on top to the right hand side of the master cyl. looking towards the windscreen; my 2nd car had it on the drivers side shock tower up the top which was ok, but seemed to get wet there from rain or washing car somehow, then new one is mounted on the same tower but on the side half under the coolant tnak, can barely see/out of way. No picture for you!

mine is in the engine bay on the strut tower beside the extractors and never had a problem at all, the other is inside under the dash. when it goes off, holy F**k hell... it hurts

On my EF, I mounted my under the overflow just behind the bottom hose of the tank, need so adjusting, but is well out of the way and very hard to see. The second sirn (Battery Backup) is mont next to the horn, but the battery, cct board and key lock is mount in the center console.

ON my EA the siren was mounted behind the drivers side strut tower next to the master cylinder, i had to move it slightly to install the cruise control.

i have a peizo siren going in under the dash and the normal one is disconnetced for some reason, floating somewhere in the engine bay

I mounted mine next to the factory horns in the front of the bumber bar, was a tight fit, but produces plenty of noise there

Just to be different, drivers side strut tower.
 Extractors (ie. no heat shield) haven't seem to have affected it adversely.

Mine was mounted near the overflow tank - so if someone was to steal something from the engine bay, they would cop an earful!
