I've got an XH ute, and want to install some 6" or 6" x 9" speakers.

I've removed the door trim and without a lot of mods to the door and trim it not really possible.

I was considering behind the seats, but I'm not sure how much sound will be obsorbed by the seats.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where would be a suitable location?

im thinking of doing the same in mine. The owner had 6x9's behind the seats and took then out when i got it dirty b**ch but they sounded really good when i test drove the car so im all for them. But i am replacing the 4" in the doors and gettin better ones. So good luck with the 6". post us some pics when your done.

Good luck

You can fit 6" but you usually have to remove the pocket, and find some that wont get in the way of the window winder... i'm still tryin

I'd like to keep the pocket as I use it regularly.

i've got a set of pods here that were made for an XF, to fit them ya gotta cut the speaker grille part of the pocket off and trim it to match the new pod
