any tips to get these things back to speed?

i dont think theres any way of getting the chrome bits up to scratch if theyre faded to black. the plain black plastic bits inbetween the chrome should come up alright with a bit of OMO mixed with water and a medium scrubber brush and some elbow grease.

the bloke I bought them off ($20) reckons vaseline as the mask and colour.. what do ya reckon?

You can still buy them new but expensive :(

The chrome ones are $41.00 each part number EC 16098A and for Red ones $20.50 each part number EC 16098B.

I was quoted at Ford Maryborough QLD $52.75 a piece Papa!
I got these buggers of a wreck, so I can use them for practise.

I couldn't get them at all last year, so put AU V8 badges on instead.
