I want to convert my 2000 AU Fairmont into a Ute. I hope someone did it before. Would be great if I can get some blueprints or something.

why not convert a ute shell to what you want? as it will be cheaper than getting someone else to do the body mods & then paying an engineer to sign off on it! ... unless ya a panel beater/coach builder/engineer ?

   - just noticed ya from south africa ..... don't think anyone here has done the SC ute as all i have seen have all been dc utes.

Thanx for the reply. We did not get the AU utes in SA only the XH utes. In SA you dont need an engineer to approve the modification. If you have any plans or know anyone who can assist me please direct me or forward the information.

I want an AU ute but wont be able to import one for the next 10 years.
