i have no idea how to post pictures to this forum , thats why i put them on facebook so you could click the link and have a look but doesnt matter , thankyou for the advice im thinking now of buying a wrecking AU2 and replacing the parts with my dad

LOL .... where was THAT mentioned hmm? - i didn't save the actual pictures of the hit car, so i used that pic to 'show' or at least give ya some idea of where it was hit & crumpled :mrgreen:

radiator support is completely damaged , how would i go about replacing or perhaps fixing it myself ? ie what tools could i use

Are you insured?

If you are, put in a claim and they will write the car off.

Unless you are good with metal, go to a panel beater (smash repair) and sit down. They will charge you more than the car is worth.

My suggestion will be to buy another car. Sorry, probably not what you wanted to hear.

That doesnt look so bad - a quick trip to a wrecker to get another radiator support, and bonnet, a few minutes to weld it in, quick paint, and your away. Even get the bumper if you want.

your dads alright with metals, but doesn't know what tools to use? don't get me wrong but if your asking what he should use .... then your dad [no disrespect meant nor intended] shouldn't be repairing ya car.

Nigel means getting the whole section coz i have no idea whats bent & i dont think you do either.
