I hit a roo a few nights back , horrible experience i do hope none of you ever have to go through it
It caused some damage to my car including:
-front bonnet needs replacing
-front two headlights need replacing as the black parts at the back of the headlights have snapped in some parts
-my front grill has been shattered into small pieces - need to get a new one

i was just wondering is it worth me going to smash repairs and getting them to replace and fix everything ?
or should i purchase AU2 pieces second hand myself and try to install them myself ? if i do this where should i look for parts and what websites should i look at ?
Any advice would be helpful :D thankyou

Is it only Bonnet, lights and grill that are damaged?

The radiator support is ok?

If it is only the bonnet etc, then these are easily replaced. Bonnet is 4 bolts and bonnet struts. Headlights unbolt easily and are plug and play. Grill is easy. Go to the wreckers and get a bonnet the same colour and you are away.

If that is the only damage you did hitting a roo, then considor yourself lucky.

By the way, how is the roo  .

Hey and Thankyou !
yes they are the only things that are damaged. The engine and radiator and all that are fine , i know i am quite lucky as i have seen some very major car damage online from roos.
The kanagaroo died at the scene , it was my first accident since getting my licence and it was the worst experience of my life. :(

So are you saying i should just go the smash repairs and get it all fixed ?
thankyou again :D

I've see alot worse.

Fit the new bonnet and adjust the radiator support to suit.
