hey guys,

what globe types are in the main and high beam lights of a ba xr6?

h1, h2? asking for my B I L who wants to replace his, and im trying to talk him into HID's

H4 for the low beam, H7 for the high beam and H3 for the foggies

Be wary bout the cheap HID copies on ebay from japan or somewhere. As they could short out/destroy your cars circuitry as there's no fail safe.

But there are a few ppl on here running the cheapies and having no trouble. Check out the HID thread made a few months back it has some helpful info on what to look out for.

you may be right..... but you may not. i got a cheapy kit from hong kong (where else!?) and it went in like a charm, and works perfectly.
then i was flicking through a mag and saw an ad for philips globes and the hid kit is EXACTLY the same. not similar, not almost- EXACTLY the same kit. if philips is willing to put a warranty on it and charge 300 plus then its good enough for me!
