just posting on behalf of a mate - hes getting a new exhaust fitted today, and has the option of getting either the BA XR8 tip, or the EF XR8 tip - looking for thoughts/suggestions as well as pictures please!

cheers

I agree thats a nice tip and it suits BA, but for ef/el shape nothing beats a nice set of twin angle cut tips or a nice oval tip (nothing round please lol!)
Some like dump pipes, but not my taste, each to their own.

well, mate got back from the exhaust shop, and it seems the BA XR8 tip is too large to fit within the stock exhaust opening in the bumper w/out mods - so hes gone with a diff tip. still food for thought though... :P

I was going to get a custom one made up for my XR6 when i first bought it. It was gonna be based on the BA GT tip with the twin pipes etc. But the angle of the tips had to be changed and to get that done it was gonna be like $140+. So i didnt worry about it and i just got a small rounded edge tip insted.

Thinking about changing it again thou

now that hes done that (my mate that is) i'm thinking about changing my tip from the oval one i've got to a twin tip that sits flush with the bumper... i reckon that'd look heaps better eh?!? :P

Much like the one i was after, if i do change my tip in the near future it will either be the custom one or just a larger style rounded edge oval tip. IMO they look the nicest.

I had the twin angle cut tips on my sportsman, rolled edge, propper one - cost was like 120!
Looks sweet tho, SO HEAVY! :P

I cant decide weather i should go wide oval tip or twin tips again for the fbt - any ideas?
