Fora 22 inch tyre( NOT TIRE) it would have to be 400 for a half decent tyre, a lot of money when you want to replace, how much are 22 inch rims???

Really sad that we won't get the next explorer.

Well that's the ignorant view to take, yes. Friends of the family had the older one (one that had the whole court case bit in the US with the tyres), and it was quite the trouble free car.

I know you can get TIS 22 inch rims for $600 a pop, $800 if you want wider rims.
My mate got his set of 22's for the explorer for $3,500 with tyres. He can get tyres for $350 each when he needs to replace them.
Which isn't bad at all, considering i paid $275 a tyre for 19's a month ago.

they are f**k C*** of things to service. expensive in parts too iirc, and they just don't sell very well over here. Theres no need for the explorer when they have the territory selling like hotcakes.
