what should i do people! im torn between the two...

18"s = more $$$, harder ride, look nicer, more unique
17"s = less $$$, cheaper tires, common on e-series

voice your opinions!

Depends if the GT-P rims are MkI or MkII. I prefer the MkII GT-P rims....
But as bowsaw said, depends if your rich or not. If you have the money then go the GT-P's.

Why not something totally different?
EL GT's are done to bloody death and the BA 18" are really becoming very popular also!
Both are good lookers, one will be legal with insurance; your choice ultimately.
Goodluck.

to be honest, i have never seen a falcon around where i am that has GTs on, or even GTPs (not including FM meets) crusing around the streets. so i dont think in GT's are done to the death. i agree a lot of people on this site have them, but in everyday driving, i have never seen them.

besides i dont really like any of the other brands or styles of rims, apart from the ford range (tickford 16"s, ELGT's, XR8 options, GTP's, AU2 XR8 etc)

the GT's are looking better and better because of the price and insurance and things like that.

I only know of three sets of EL GT's in Canberra,

Mine,
a set on an DL LTD (same colour paintwork as mine too!),
and a set on a burgundy EL GT in the Gregory's Ford used lot.

You people need to come to south east melbourne - seriously see at least one car a day with them, at least..
Also around the shopping center ive seen a few au/el's with BA rims, as i said if it were me i would want something more unique - altho i agree is hard to find the perfect rims that arent genuine or of same brand.

You may aswell go EL GT like everyone else for same reason if your worried about legality n price, simple as that.

And yer, Fordmods dont count coz every 2nd el has el gt's lol! :D

how about mine? lol

BA GTP mkII are 19s, GTP mkI are 18s. I can get mkII 19s for approx $2.4k wheels only. not cheap! although tempted lol

Personally i'd go look for something different as it'll become very common soon, maybe azura styles or something else!

Well you obviously not getting around as much as me then, however i do work at a shopping center n see god knows how many cars every day; all different.
Theres one i see on stud rd a fair bit actually, it goes from knox to fountain gate, they are on e series ute, dark blue.
Again.. i said if it were me, i see them way to much, to the point where they seem stock/normal to me so id go something diff; obviously if u dont and u keep defending them so much, theres the proof in which rims u want to go deep down haha, go for em n enjoy.

Fuzion, your rims look so hot on your car; but i agree with what you say, some rims are great, but they do become too popular in areas, as ive said ive seen heaps of AU n BA rims on E series, but not urs yet. Id personally go something different too, hard bit is finding something.

That, or come to a Melbourne FM meet, and be just about the only one with an EL without them!

MKII's are 19", and about $4500 a set.
