Well, as some of you know, my car is currently in the process of being resprayed. It's now starting to get to the fun part and I need to decide if I'm going to put the Fairmont and Ghia badges back on...

I have to leave the chrome trim above and around the number plate on, because of the visible mounting points without it. I've decided that I want to put the 5.0 V8 decal near the side indicator back on, but I'm still undecided about the badges on the guards and bootlid...

If you leave them off, you can put them back on easily afterwards. I'd leave them off for now

if your gonna have it debaged, id like the V8 ones off too, dont do it half assed imho, debadging only makes a good impression when its totally sleek and done properly.
I rekon have none, but what ever floats your boat...

I agree with the debadging making it look sleeker, but I like the look of the V8 decals on the series 2. Because they're a decal they don't necessarily break up the lines of the car...

agreed! get them to fill in the holes on the rear panels from the EF badges, and then you can put some BA Ghia badging on the back, which don't require any fitment holes! :P

Sounds like I should leave 'em off for now and then (perhaps) add some later model badges later???

Badges ... badges ... we don't need no badges
We don't need no sticking badges.

I like the clean look.
