Basicly a cut and shut job - sliced it through the front then kept removing material from underneath until it sat resonably flush, cut the ends off then used a heat gun to mold the ends and underneath the lip.
It's not finished though, the heat gun does do a good job but left a few bumps and dips which need attention, and I still may remove more material to get the front to sit lower.
