YAY :) thats 3 now

i agree the EF's flat front looks better than the ricer looking EL one.
i rekon it looks like a jap import with a dodgey body kit.
but thats my opinion

I prefer the EF front too. Its more simple but still looks great.

The EL XR looks way better then the EF easily. The curve of the lights make it look so much better then a flat cover-looking lights of the EF.

IMO the EL's look a hell of a lot better than the EF's, the el's look aggressive while the EF looks pretty plain and amateurish

ah, just wondering, i dont mind the el headlights, theyre just as good as the xr lights, so if i were to get a setup such as this

thats the front spoiler, side skirts, rear spoiler for $1090(not painted, and with $200 for delivery)

i love the front spoiler,its $240(plus 120 for delivery)
i'd also get the side skirts $240, and the xr8 spoiler for $450(the picture is a touring spoiler)

i do like the setup in the pic, only i want the xr8 spolier not the touring one.

ive found a website with front spoilers and bonnet scoops, and side skrts and and front and rear bumpers

oh yeah the site it www.spoilerfactory.com.au
(click on the "view online brochures" at the top)

hope it all works!!!

fun, your signature says that your car has problems.

you always seem to be dreaming, my suggestion. REPAIR what needs to be done and get it all going then worry about mods later as your still to young to even drive!

Mmm i agree i was after an EL XR8 originally but was too expensive for me to run so i got the EF. But yeah the EF XR lights remind me too much of that f**k Honda with the same style lights!!! :x What was it an integra or something like that.

EL XR lights look way better and i reckon the grille is kick a**! Damn it i want one!!!

if you have an ef xr front can you just change the bumper to an el xr bar? or is there more work to it. also how the hell do you get out the blinkers to change the park light???

yep the ef xr and el xr bars are the same apart from looks, changing the park light is easy you dont need to pull the indicator out and if you did its not very hard anyway.

to change the park light there is a screw when you open the bonnet in the top corner - under the black protective strip. once thats undone, just pull the bastard out! easy as!

cougar: as you have an EL Fairmont, you'll also need a new bonnet as well - you'll need either the EF/EL XR bonnet (with scoops) or just the stock EF Gli/Futura bonnet - as the fairmont ones don't fit with the XR front end.

it does have problems, a few, like any car, they arent major, just lil things like the exhaust (getting fixed in this month),a new pulley cos the original is a lil old, possibly a new cat convertor, a new gasket for the intake, and a service, nothing i cant handle.

And might i ask, whats wrong with dreaming??, its alot better than the truth...u should know that.

go bust someone elses bubble...leave me be.
