If you swap an EF XR6 wing to an EL XR8 wing will the holes be the same or do you have to drill new holes?

I might be thinking of doing this only if you can use the same holes.

Cheers

If you looked or searched, adhem, youd find ive started not 1, but 2 threads on this!
However, I do this too, reposting that is - and yes the holes will line up..
All you need to do it drill an extra 2 holes for the middle "fin" and one under the drivers side bit for the wire; as the XR6 version has the wire go down the center piece unlike the XR8 one.
All in all its VERY easy to do and I did the whole lot myself in about n hour taking my time - which means you could do it no probs in less than an hour!

Go for it.

Its hard to find something with that search feature.
Type XR6 or XR8 and you know how many threads come up?

Thanks for the info.

Is there any holes that are not used when you fit the XR8 one?
I dont want to have excess holes even if they are not seen.

Well chances are if the light wire goes in another position, there will be at least one, and if the centre holes need redrilling, there may be an extra two. But as long as the spoiler sits flush you shouldnt have a problem :)

You end up with one extra hole or you can extend that hole by a few mm an re use it.
I chose not to re use it and just sealed up the beare metal after cleaning it up, plus put a cover on it from under neather and the middle fin over the top, NO way water will get to it or anywhere near it now..

And ye, i know how many things com up in the search feature, i wish it wasnt sensitive to peoples signatures, ie search XR8 and everyone with an XR8 saying they have one in their signature shows up - piss's ya off aye.
