Guys, have a look at my my photos and let us know what you think of the black mouldings replacing the red ?

May not look expensive but the 17 x 8 chicanes maybe cost too much in hindsight, bridgestone rubber, sportslow suspension, tint, rebadged, lots of nenewed plastic parts, and replaced anything that looked worn out, an ex police car, really pleased with the personalised plates.

Not a fan of the rims but the black moulding is much better than the red.

Looks great in my opinion. My favourite Falcon is a white EF lowered.

Wheels wouldn't of been my choice, two reasons, one i think thick spoked wheels really suit the Falcons, and 2 white on white, not for me, but if I was you I'd paint those wheels black or a dark grey or something (maybe white brake calipers behind or something?), that'd glook good and different!

The black mouldings definately look better than the red on the whtie car! Anyways, the most important thing is that your happy with it!

I like the rims, but one of my favourite things about the EF/EL XR is the red striping, i don't like the black at all in comparison, looks a bit like a GLi. Nice car though.

love the black and the rims would like something like them in black for my nc as i think the black would set off the blackout around the windows. what were the rimms worth dude.

It seems that the reason why you don't like the black is because you now assoctiate the car with the Gli's, were when it was red you thopught XR. It's really more about how good it actually looks in application, and I think in this case the black sutis the car far better and matchs, maybe if instead he had kept the red and done the brake calipers and some other features red it'd be a different story.

I think it looks great, the black stripe gives it a bit of a tougher look.

mkaes it look alot better.
think the rims look awsome
only think that i think would make it look better is buy spending soem more money on it and getting a venom kit for it as it would make the rims look so much better
