Has anyone ever done a EL coupe I have seen Scorcher (EB Coupe?) but has anyone one attempted it on the EF/EL? What would be the realistic cost in doing this?

Ideas? Thoughts? Views?

i thought i red an article on the ba "blue print coupe".. was something like $30,000-$40,000 ontop of the donor vehicle for the 2 door conversion... the ba looked awesome though.. and looked just as good as if it was done by ford themselves.. 8-)

I'm sure someone will have done it, they did an EB, and AU and a BA, unlikely EF/EL wouldn't have had a go

Don't know about EL, but this BA was at the motor show a couple of years ago.

This must be the one your talking about 'fordfreak ef'.
I quite like it....

For me, it's all about the C pillar and window line.

That BA looks like a 4 door. Sorry. It doesn't interest me.

The Hillers did an AU coupe, which Ford later negotiated to wack a 4.6 litre supercharged V8 in, put it on show and never sell it!!!

As for an EF/EL 2 door. Dunno, can't imagine it lookin any good. Would have to see one though. Isn't there a bloke on FM that does wicked photoshops? Get him to do one :)

My point on C pillars and window lines:
Take a look at an XA-XC coupe. Gorgeous, magnificant vehiles.
2 reasons for this (in my opinion) The C pillar is part of the body (no clumsy looking weld joint i.e Commodores.) and THAT window line looks HOT!!!!!!!

If they are gonna build a coupe, they may as well let people know its a coupe...back in the XA-XB-XC days, the coupes looked alot different to the sedans...that BA looks like a four door sedan...

The XA to XC coupes had different tail lights, a more distinct back and had that tough look...

I'm not bagging this BA out since I know it would cost alot to re engineer the structure of the car to give it a mustang like appearance...

Anyone for scissor doors, lambo doors, gull wing doors etc? I saw a BA ute with gull wings, worked very well

Not a fan of the bottom one, and the top one is sitting a little too close to the ground, but that can be fixed. 2 door falcons! Check my sig
