Yep.

They can have up to nine characters on personalised plates I'm pretty sure.

That EL grille looks 100% better for just some paint!

This is my custom grille. A mate and i did this in about 10 minutes. All we did was cut out all the grille supports and used mesh to cover the back of the grille. We also used gloss paint behind the grille so it would show the mesh better.

Has anyone else been doing anything like this as of late. I'm looking at doing mine shortly and perhaps doing a step-by-step, but I'm looking for stronger mesh than the standard supercheap stuff as it seems too plyable.

You don't need anything stronger as it is only for looks. The Supercheap mesh and others is aluminium so it is flexable, needs to be as you will need to bent it around a little to get the fit right.

I'll be doing this to my EL Ghia very soon.
Along with placing some meshing behind the front bar gap.

Your grille looks mint, hope mine comes off that well.

Hi there,
i realise this is an old thread, but i have a 98 EL futura, im in need of a new bonnet, and possibly a new front bumper...
Is this the only type that will fit? or will another model fit?

When I bought it a few months ago it already had front damage and the grill is gone... can u tell me if the EL futura's grill attaches to the bonnet or to the bumper..

Apologies for the 'silly' questions compared to you smarty pants guys :P

Cheers.
