yeah but these arnt for xr's. i need a bottom front bar for my xr6 but these arnt for xr's. i would like a gt but the only i have found is custom jobs. for xr's you can choose the venom or gto. here is ssv's website http://ssv.com.au/

It wouldn't be that much harder for them to do that with an XR top.
Or, could get that and a set of Twinlights.

yeah im getting it custom made using all original parts
i wanted to stick with plastic and not use any fibreglass

i was looking into doing this and i had emailed new gel about it. they do the typhoon bar to suit a fairmont (from memory). they said they would have to custom make one and they said it could cost from 1800-2500 to make

ahhh... so thats who it belongs too. when i was asking about the bar they sent me a pic of your car. the pic had fordmods.com printed on it and i wondered who owned it. looks very good too

I emailed them and they quoted me $660, they are currently working on getting a full body kit to suit the ef\el

sorry...didnt quite explain myself properly. they said it would cost 1800-2500 to custom make a bar with the xr lights.

Spoke to a plastic welder today and he said the EL XR bars are made from a different plastic to the BF bars and would not be able to weld them together

though he said he can shorten my typhoon sideskirts because theres no mix in plastics

ive found another way of joining the bars but just thought i would post up the difference in plastics if someone was going to try weld them together
