hey all, my cousin has a 98 el xr that he decided to take into the cbd last year and as he was out and about, we had those massive storms.
since then he has not washed the car due to the fact the the dents are more hidden, the thing looks like a golf ball.
was wondering if anyone knows anywhere to reccomend for a good job done for a half decent price, mainly on the roof and anywhere else that can't be replaced, it's a tickford and has legit under 100k k's so he's decided to spend the $$ on repairs.
and if anyone has good panels in blue for sale, throw us a pm with price and that.
cheers.

You use an air duster, get it from any electronics store... However it's a waste of time and money for hail damage. Works good on big dints that haven't made a crease, i would be very doubtful that it would work on hail damage.

Cheers Paul.

it does work with some hail damage depending on the severity, you heat up the spot thats dinged and once it's hot you spray the ice pack on the area and generally the quick cooling pops the ding out. but it you wanna do it the easy way just pull the roof lineing out and have somebody use a dolly wrapped in a towl on the roof while somebody hits the dings one by one from the inside of the car. it's worth a go i know from experience of working in the panel beating side of things that you generally want to go for all other options b4 getting a new turret. they can leak be out of allignment, and usually a replacement is very expensive. try everything else first see how you go, and see what happens from there.
