Found this picture of an NC Fairlane on this site. I'd like to know how and what type of paint they used to do all the trim around the car black, as I want to do the same thing to mine as they're in very bad condition.

by the looks of the pic id say its a nice glossy black enamel, most likely from a spraycan

Ah ok. Would I have to use plastic rubber or some other type of primer to get the paint to stay on there? Don't want it peeling after a couple of weeks.

yeah plastic primer, a good clean with wax n grease remover and a light sand
