just a quick question. ive got an el falcon and just wondering how hard would it be to put a mont or fairlane front on it.

at first i thought it would be easy as bolting it on but wondered if it wouldnt fit because the bonnet lock is in a different spot or anything else for that matter?

You'll need new headlights, new bonnet and new bumper. Possibly the bonnet latch too.

Yeah its piss easy. Basically unbolt and bolt up.

Like glen said you will need new light, bonnet and bumper bar.

Fairlane front ends are the same as Fairmont's, but i think the bonnet catch is lower on a Fairmont because of the grille being incorporated into the bonnet? I could be wrong, but camparing the olds' EL GLi to my Fairmont, they look slightly different :?

Which are both (grille and turning lamps, even headlights) inter-changeable between the two.

Basically a Fairmont is a SWB Fairlane haha. Except for the obvious, rear ends are different.
