Fitting EB Tail lights to an EA - how the f**k!?

well i just had a small spark of inspiration... (thanks to data_mine's pic of his EL LED tail lights)

what about, instead of cutting big holes for the reversing lights, why not just attach a white LED to the end of each wire and snaking it through into the reversing lens, and tape/glue it there?

just a thought...

i dont think an led would be bright enough for reverse lights? they also serve the purpose of illuminating behind the car when dark.

i thought i superbright white LED whoud be light enough? of a few of them? lol

unfortunatly the hole needs to be cut for the section of the garnish that protrudes into the boot lid and holds the reverse globes..

you could cut the plastic off the garnish and insert leds but its up to you.
do you want to cut the boot lid??
or cut the back of the garnish???
