The heat under the bonnet from the extractors was a big factor ..
it has made such a big differance and the whole car runs cooler

IMO the scoop on the Ef/EL series looks crap and makes them look like a jap car with plastic bits stuck on........

Looks a little like the older Celica Turbo....

XR vents on Falcon

vents + scoop would be overkill.

I don't see why extractors would make more heat than the stock manifold, they restrict the fflow less so they should generate less heat due to no resistance. And if you put the stock heat shield back on no worries.
You also don't want you engine running too cold.

And that scoop is disgusting and over kill in my opinion.. But if you like it then that's what counts!

Are you looking at EB GT or EL GT bonnet decor?
