Hey just a few queries, anyone know how much a sunroof would set you back to be installed? Also, what would be a good price to pay for your car to be lowered just to the legal limit? || :lol: Cheers||

Get ebv8 to put one in for ya! He owns a can opener so that takes care of the hole. He said an umbrella would fill it in if it started to rain. As for lowering it he reckons put som 9 or 10 inch wheels on it. Total cost: Approx 100 bucks :lol: :lol: :lol:

Sorry not very constructive tonight :twisted:

piper....what the first two posters said......about 1500- about 2000....not 2500 but u never know...they might over charge for a full electric sunroof......pop up is about 600-1000 depending where u go and tinting and stuff like that. Lowering u can just go king springs super lows all round for about 300 installed i think or maybe cheaper...but u might need shorter shocks to go with them so about 400 for them....

all together for sunroof (full) and lowered with springs and shocks...ur set back about 3000....give ur take.

i was quoted for super lows with pedders shocks back in like the year 2002 for my EA and they said 1100 installed....i was like WTF.....but yeah should be cheaper now for some reason

phong =P~

i just had an electric TVS sunroof fitted to my ghia through prestige sunroofs in burwood. they qouted $2300 which was a bit higher than other places but you can bargain with em a bit. managed to get them down to $2000.

http://www.prestigesunroofs.com.au/

very happy with the product and service from them. id definately go back there, but i cant see myself blowing another 2 grand on my other car.

as for lowering, i had my car on superlows and had it raised a little (still lower than stock) and it cost me just over 600 for pedders springs and shocks, fitted.

If you want a pop-up, install it yourself.

It's not that hard :)

DIY....Get an electric one from the wreckers. Maybe even a commodore one will do. Cut the hole your self.

I think for lowering u can get King Spring Super Lows (35mm) for $100 a pair but dont quote me.

It's obvious you haven't done it then.

Yeah, both J and myself did out pop up in 2 cars. NEVER had a problem with it leaking.
