i bought the car of ebay and it stated that the cars is a "82 XE S-Pack Falcon 4.1 Alloy head with auto, fitted with Fairmont Ghia bonnet and front bumper with spoiler" and i do need headlights and indicators. I dont think the car is an ESP. I think its a mock up? It has a tacho with the clock under the sterio, but the interior has the s**t cream colour with oil staines(previous owner) but im looking 4 a xf fairmont ghia grey interior or an interior out of an ltd grey also?

i bought if 4 $200 the guy had it for $300 or $400. i bought it but my old man said he told the guy 200 or leave it

Buy a decent one with rego, and use it for parts.

mate if ur 16 then obviously ull be wanting to get on the road in a year or so, theres really no point trying to do a car up at this point, instead of buying a few bucket a** cars for $200 and doing a $1500 paint job on 1 that will probably never pass rego u should save up for a year and go for an ef or an el with rego

Paint it 2 tone like the ESP's.. they look hot. Liquid silver over ego would be cool.

cant really tell what condition its in, but if i were you, id try and do most of the work myself. id first buy a front spoiler, side skirts, rear skirts and a wing. prep the car for paint, by sanding the paint off in and around dents, bondo the dent, then sand it smooth, once ready, lay primer down on it, and the coulour of choice i think would be a pearl white, it would look great on an xe, with some big white rims.

that was what i had in mind, try and do alot of body work on the car, and with a bit of hepl from my dad drop in a 5 speed manual 2

u seem pretty keen to do this xe up so i better lay my positive opinion i guess, if u have an auto in there at the moment id leave it, i converted the ef to manual 8 months later i had it redone to auto but get a manual lisence, i think white would go good on ur car or the BF colour seduce as they both seem to keep cool in the heat, look foward to see some progress on this xe
