Hi Guys,

I need to remove the old chrome moulding on my EL Ghia. I want to replace them with new chrome stripping to make it look better.

I need to know what process to actually remove the chrome from the front bumper, rear bumper and doors.

Any help is much appreciated

John.

i think they are double side taped on, like the XR/GLi mouldings.

Front & rear bar are easy, the doors are hard on the other hand, I noticed the door ones are moulded to the door trim. I just went over them with new chrome.

the doors are moulded they just lip back through behind the trim an inch or 2, probably to do with the moulding off.

Yeah the door ones are easy to replace, they just sort of poke through the moulding, you need to take it off though like OZBMX said, its kind of hard to explain.
