Hi all,
I recently purchased a new toy a BA XT Falcon Sedan...
Anyway i was told it was an ex telstra car and ive noticed something thats kinda annoying.

The issue is that my headlights are on constantly when the key is in the On Position ( Ready to start) and they will stay on the entire time i drive, i remember that most telstra cars ive seen always have thier lights on and am wondering if any1 has come across this issue or would know how to fix it.

Before any1 asks there is no Auto selector for the headlights.

There is a little jumper clip in the fuse panel under the dash, I believe. Pull it out and the lights should operate as normal. :)

It's been a while but I used to fit Gen Ford Auto Headlights On kits into telstra vehicles back in my time at Ford. Its a complete kit with a contoller box that splices into the harness under the dash behind the fuse panel. You need to pull the panel down to access it usually.

both the above answers are right.
There is a complete kit, but pulling that one wire cuts the power feed to the kit and returns the lights to normal operation

Is this the same for AU? My XR6 has that autolight on (well when the key is turned to the ON position or when the car is started the lights are on constantly)
